# Service Credit

**Service Credits** are designed to enhance the satisfaction and loyalty of our valued customers. They serve as a means of compensation for delays in the delivery of final commissions, providing a fair and flexible solution to account for lost time.

## <i class="fa-key">:key:</i> How to use Service Credits

This credit system may be applied in the following ways:

1. **Product Purchases**: Apply credits toward the purchase of any product available on our **BuiltByBit** store.
2. **Commission Discounts**: Receive up to **20%** off the total cost of a commission.
   1. **Credits** may only be applied as partial payments and cannot be used to cover the full cost of a commission.

## <i class="fa-chart-simple">:chart-simple:</i> Usage Guidelines and Conditions

To ensure **transparency** and security for both customers and **Origin Creations**, the use of **Service Credits** is subject to the following conditions:

1. If you intend to apply **Service Credits** toward a commission discount, you must notify us before a project deadline is established.
   1. Redeeming **Service Credits** may introduce a processing delay of up to five (5) business days. For example, once credits are applied, the commission may officially begin several days after the agreement is finalized.
2. **Service Credits** are valid for thirty (**30**) days from the date of issuance. Any unused credits will **expire** after this period and will be **removed** from the account balance.
3. Commissions partially paid using **Service Credits** may have extended completion timelines compared to standard commissions.
4. **Origin Creations** reserves the right to restrict or decline the use of **Service Credits** at any time due to operational capacity or other applicable factors.
